Message Board

Hooray! Our new message board is now working. Best of all, the user information and posts were saved from the old board. Plus, it's fast, accurate, and looks pretty good.

The new board allows guests (people who are just cruising by and haven't registered for the message board) to view the "information" posts about HEA and its conference, chat rooms, and message board.

The main section of the board is divided into sections for groups such as parents, spouses, teens, people with epispadias, Spanish speakers, etc. You can ask questions, share experiences, and give and seek support from other people whose circumstances are similar to yours.

The third section contains articles and links to other resources on hypospadias, epispadias, and related conditions.

People who have registered can log in and view and make posts to all sections of the board, in addition to sending emails and private messages (PM) to those folks who have allowed email and/or PM contact. You can subscribe to topics, forums, or the entire board so that you will be emailed about new posts. You can select users for inclusion in your "friends" list so that you can send a private message to your entire "friends" group. You can see who else is currently logged in and online (and you can decide to remain "hidden" while you are logged in).

You can change the color scheme to suit your own preferences and needs. For those folks who have color vision problems, choose the "Minimal" or "RedSilver" styles.
