Message Board Rules

The Hypospadias and Epispadias Association (HEA) message board is designed to assist in sharing information about hypospadias (HS) and epispadias (ES). It is a tool for people living with these conditions, as well as family members and friends of people living with HS or ES. Patients, family members, and friends should feel free to post news and information about up-coming events or initiatives, as well as ask questions and network with colleagues.

HEA cannot monitor this message board 24 hours a day, and is not responsible for the contents, accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any messages posted. Views expressed by message authors are not necessarily those of HEA. If you feel that a posted message is objectionable, please e-mail the forum administrator immediately. HEA can and will remove objectionable messages. Message removal is a manual process and may not occur immediately.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, profane, threatening, sexually exploitable, invasive of a person's privacy, or that otherwise violates any law. Posting of case-related comments about people who have been judged "not guilty" in a court of law is illegal and therefore is not allowed. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you.

Although HEA does not and cannot review the messages posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages, HEA reserves the right to delete or edit any message for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless HEA, Snitz Forums (the makers of the bulletin board software), and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

HEA also reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.
