Welcome to Membership in HEA!
HEAinfo.org is open to the public and membership is not required
to utilize our resources, including the message board
and chat area. But if you believe that HEA provides valuable services,
please consider supporting our efforts by becoming a member.
Basic membership costs just $36 per year (payable in a lump sum or in 2 installments), with other levels of membership available for those who are able to support us at a higher level.
Why should you become a member or renew your membership?
- Members enable HEA to provide education and outreach services, such as this website, that help conquer the feelings of isolation and fear expressed by many in our community.
- Members receive a $25 discount on conference registrations.
- Members are eligible to vote at the annual business meeting and other elections.
- Members are eligible to become members of the HEA Board.
- Membership contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law (generally the membership less the value of thank-you gifts).
How do you join up or renew your membership?
Choose your membership level. Two tiers of membership are available: First Tier (membership dues of $36, $60, or $120 per year and professional membership for $75 per year) and Second Tier (membership dues of more than $350 a year). Payments can be made in a lump sum (via mail or PayPal) or as recurring payments/subscriptions (via PayPal only).
Fill in the online forms for First Tier Memberships or Second Tier Memberships. If you don't want to use PayPal to pay your membership dues, fill in the Pay By Mail form and send a check to the following address:

For those using PayPal, you will receive an acknowledgment after you submit the form. Those paying by mail will receive an acknowledgment by snail mail. Everyone will also receive an email when it is time to renew your membership.
